On Saturday, April 26, we officially kicked off the new golf season at Albatross with a tournament that, for the first time this year, bore the name of our dear colleague Kristýna Pivcová. The Opening Season Tournament thus became not only a sporting event but also a dignified tribute to Kristýna, who served as our outstanding marshal, colleague, and friend for 12 years.
As tradition dictates, the tournament was played in teams, with the best three Stableford scores from each flight counting toward the final result.
Popular on-course contests were also part of the event:
Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin, as well as two Hole-in-One challenges:– On hole no. 13, players competed for a year’s supply of Pilsner beer.– On hole no. 16, the prize was a Golf Geum Technology trolley.
