D+D Real Czech Masters is history and we would like to thank everyone who took part in the organisation. We would like to thank our greenkeepers and our head greenkeeper Thomas Sedlmeier. Their good work was appreciated by the players and the European Tour staff. Thanks also go to the promoters, Relmost, the tournament partners and the volunteers, without whom the tournament wouldn't run as smoothly as it does.
The winner was American Johannes Veerman on 15 under par. As well as winning a huge cheque, he also claimed his first European Tour title. The main star of the tournament, Henrik Stenson, was in contention almost until the very last moment, but unfortunately he made a mistake on the 16th hole and finished T-4.
This year will go down in the history of Czech golf as 4 of the 16 Czech players in the field made the cut: Filip Mrůzek, Aleš Kořínek, Ondřej Lieser and Matyáš Zapletal. Filip Mruzek also finished with an overall score of 8 under par, the best result in the history of the event.
